Law is a constantly changing profession. What worked one quarter may not work the next, and what works for a law firm this year could be different next, so lawyers are always looking for new ways to reach clients and provide services. Some of the major laws now in effect in the state of New York include raising the minimum wage to $16 per hour, expanding the eligibility of crime victims to apply for victim compensation funds and ensuring that those hired to analyze water quality samples have access to all relevant law enforcement information.
Other laws New include requiring third-party food delivery services to obtain a license and repealing subchapter 22 of chapter 5 of title 20 of the administrative code of the city of New York relating to these third-party delivery services. It also makes it a misdemeanor to sleep or camp on state-owned lands in the state of Missouri and prohibits a person from operating an off-road motor vehicle on public property.
While law new can be difficult to define, it is certainly a growing and important field of the legal profession. The concept of law new is one that all legal firms should understand and consider implementing into their strategies, as it can help them better serve their clients.
